Madrid, Spain Travel Video Guide

The theme for my Madrid video is follow your dream. I interview Marta Escauriaza about living her dream of running a restaurant, and Javier Icazuriaga about his recently established music recording enterprise. Thanks to Miguel, Sarah, Mark, Mercedes and Margie for aid with translations. Thanks to Axel for use of his flamenco tune. www.icompositions.com

@MadridManSpain Thanks, yes I think this was Antonio. Javier mentioned there was a guy from a flamenco band backstage

  2. MadridManSpain says:

First, a well-made video. I liked your Granada video equally as much.
Say, look at the guy seated at the far left at 5:34-5:37, the one with the long dark hair. While the room is dark-ish, I could swear that is Antonio Carmona, former lead singer of the super-famous flamenco-rock band “Ketama”, now a solo singer. Take a look at his photos online and tell me if that’s the same guy.

@Cvillemac I really enjoy interviewing local people, it is a great way to travel. If it works, they talk for a while…if it doesnt I do :)

  4. Cvillemac says:

This is fantastic. I love the interview a local thread through all you pieces. It is not easy to do, but you do it so well. I don’t know about the shorts, though the mustache is great.

@joshywashington Cheers Joshy, Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth.

@Heatheronhertravels Hi Heather, I have used hospitality club and couchsurfing also, great way to meet locals. Will lock you in for my Bristol local :)

  9. Heatheronhertravels says:

love the humour & getting under the skin of the culture through meeting locals – I tend to use hospitality club to meet locals when I travel, not necessarily to stay with thm. Happy to be your local guide if you ever get to Bristol, UK – loads of great video material here.
