Southern Holiday Rentals Sponsors the GoSouthern.com Classic, a Premier High School Basketball Tournament Hosted by the Fort Walton Beach Vikings

Local leader Southern Vacation Rentals is proud to sponsor the GoSouthern.com Classic High School Basketball Tournament this week in support of Fort Walton Beach High School and their coach John Lavin. Basketball enthusiasts and longtime fans of the Vikings, Southern has sponsored this event since 1998, just this year renaming it the GoSouthern.com classic.

The popular tournament features 16 teams – eight girls and eight boys from around the Southeast. Local and out-of-state talent competes in the four day event with play beginning Tuesday, December 27th at 9 am.

This tournament will feature outstanding teams from all over the Southeast. We are very proud to partner with the professional staff at GoSouthern.com to offer the best high school basketball this area has ever seen, states Coach Lavin.

Locally, the Fort Walton Beach Vikings and Choctaw Indians are participating with both their girls and boys teams while South Walton brings their girls team.

The talented teams from Alabama, Kentucky and Tennessee, include these high schools: Bullitt East (KY), Southwind (TN), Dyer (TN), Evangelical Christian (TN), Graves County (KY), Moore County (TN) and Spain Park (AL). With this level of competition, the holiday event promises fast action and aggressive play worthy of the travel and certainly entertaining to the fans.
